We are delighted to announce that we have begun work on the prestigious Bodmin Jail redevelopment.

Starting with the new state-of-the-art visitor attraction this will quickly followed up with the transformation of the existing prison wings into a new luxury hotel.

We are excited that PinCM Ltd have chosen to collaborate with ourselves on such an iconic and important project.

Hewaswater at the Cornish Pirates

We were delighted to be able to sponsor the recent match between the Cornish Pirates and Bristol Rugby at the Mennaye.

The hospitality was first class even though the result didn’t quite go the way of the Pirates !

We would like to thank our guests for attending and all the staff of the Cornish Pirates for providing a most enjoyable day. I am sure we will be back.

Open day a great success

Our Open Day held on June 23rd to celebrate our 70th Anniversary proved to be a resounding success. The factory tour and demonstrations we had set up to show our new CNC Profiles Machine and Press Brake were well received by our guests, as was the fabulous food !

We would like to thank our guests for supporting us so well on the day and would ask anybody interested in visiting us to please get in touch. We would be delighted to show you around.

Factory tours prove popular

Last Friday the guests at our open day enjoyed a full tour of our facilities, including our brand new Process Shop containing our new CNC Prss Brake & Profiling Machines.

A lot of our guests said that they had no idea of just how large our facilities are and the wide variety of services we offer. We would welcome anyone who wishes to take a look around our premises to please get in touch.

Open Day – Positive Lifting Demonstration

As part of our Open Day celebrating our 70th Anniversary we gave our guests a demonstration of positive lifting. This is a much safer way of moving steelwork than chains and slings and has been adopted by most main contractors as the only acceptable method of lifting on thier sites.

We also demonstrated our latest lorry edge protection system which we believe is much safer than air bags, nets or any other system designed for this purpose.

Our guests gave us very positive feedback regarding our attitude towards safety.

Hewaswater Open Day – June 23rd

We are pleased to announce our Open Day on Friday 23rd June from 12pm – 4pm.

The event is being held to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Hewaswater Engineering and to formally open our new Processing Facility.

The arrival of our new machinery has already been announced in previous posts but this is an opportunity for all customers and interested parties to see these machines in operation.
