Hewas Water help re-develop the Hall for Cornwall

Working closely with Kier Construction we provided multiple steel and metalwork packages as part of the prestigious re-development of this iconic grade II listed building.

Working in an enclosed environment alongside many other trades provided us with quite a few logistical challenges which we happily met.

The theatre recently re-opened to fantastic reviews.

Penzance Heliport nearing lift off

Erection of the new hangar building at Penzance Heliport is well under way. The hangar frame is almost complete and ready for us to start cladding. The massive 34m wide hangar door is already in production and will be delivered in time for installation in October.

Hewas Water to build Penzance Heliport Kier Construction

Falmouth School – New Pavillion

We have successfully completed the erection of a new sports pavilion at Falmouth School. Working once again with our friends at Kier Construction, this SCAPE project was completed on time in just under a week.

Mayflower Continues Apace!

Our work at the new Mayflower Water Treatment Works is progressing well. The 3 buildings that are currently on site are on programme with the final 2 buildings due for delivery in early August.

Costa Coffee to Take Away!

We recently completed this interesting modular project for CIS Group in Newquay.

It involved erecting a steel frame on castors in a hangar at Newquay Airport prior to it being fitted out ready to be unwrapped at Reading Services.

This method of construction proved very successful and we hope that many more similar structures will be rolled out (literally) in the coming months.

New Processing Extension Under way

Work has begun on our new 4400sq ft extension. This building will house all of our processing plant, including a new 225 ton Press Brake and a 7 metre Plasma Cutter. Both are CNC and will be linked to our existing software.

We will be hosting an open day over the Summer to allow customers to view this great new addition for themselves.

Mayflower WTW under way

We have erected the first phase of structural steelwork at the new Plymouth water treatment works.

This is the first of 5 buildings we shall be erecting over the coming months.

Steelwork, scaffolding & cladding are all included in this order worth in excess of £1m.

New Restaurant successfully completed

We have just completed erection of the new Chiquito’s restaurant at Threemilestone for our friends at Rhos Construction. Having only been awarded the contract on June 10th we managed to complete erection on July 25th – a full week ahead of what was already an extremely tight programme.
